Investigation continues into car crash that killed Florida woman

On Behalf of | Jul 22, 2011 | Car Accidents |

Law enforcement is still investigating the initial cause of a multi-vehicle crash that occurred this past weekend. A Florida woman was killed in the crash and her husband and two others were hospitalized with injuries from the collision.

Because of some construction on the road, the vehicles were driving in groups even though traffic was moving along at a steady speed. For an unknown reason, the SUV that the Florida woman was riding in hit the vehicle in front of it.

As a result, the SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and was struck by a truck. The car hit by the SUV also crossed the center line and was hit by two additional vehicles that were traveling in the opposite direction. Those who were injured sustained non-life threatening injuries and appear to be recovering.

However, the death of the Florida woman is no doubt a tragic event for her husband who had been driving the SUV.

Police are still trying to figure out what happened. What caused the woman’s husband to crash into the car in front of him? Could he be facing any charges because of the crash? What other sorts of legal implications could arise from this situation? Who is responsible for any damage to property and the medical expenses incurred?

These questions will remain unanswered until the investigation is complete. The woman’s husband may need to seek advice from someone who understands what sorts of charges could be filed and how this accident could impact his future.

Accidents happen every day for a number of different reasons. But when an accident does occur, the aftermath can be devastating and complicated. Having someone who can aid in the process can be beneficial if legal action is taken.
